Hope everyone is gearing up for a great fishing season!
Just a reminder to all those who use a boat in Canada that all boat operators "REQUIRE" their Pleasure Craft Operator Card this year! (by September 15th 2009) There is no grandfather clause and no minimum age to get the card.
This federal law applies to all Canadians, no matter your age, the length of your boat or the size of your engine.
So to the BaconBoys who have yet to get thier licence, hurry up... Unless you want Brad to be the Captain the entire Sept fishing trip!!!
Here is where I got my boating licence - http://www.boaterexam.com/ You only pay once and you can retry the exam as many times as you need to (it's not hard if you read the material) :

They sent me my card about a week after I passed the exam. (Now I'm good forever...or until the gov' change their minds again...)
